Do you think I'm going to be able to unscrew it tomorrow? Of course I'm going to get a new plug to replace it.

Default nope it won't hold.

Vice grips and pray is your best choice. Your next choice is to drill it out or replace the pan

Default There are bolt removal tools available from a hardware store.

but you can no longer use them unless you get teh JBW off. =)

Default Go to sears and buy those EZ out socket sets. You'll be able to remove the stripped bolt.

But as Mark said...you'll probably need to get the JB weld off.

Default had my plug strip last week............

i didn't have any vice grips so I decided to just head to Jiffy Lube.....mistake....they managed to round out the bolt completely. I ended up taking it to another shop where they used a hammer and a chissle to break the bolt loose, then vice grips to finish the job.

On a side note....dealers want $22 for a new plug. The plugs for $0.99 on ECStuning are not the correct plug. They now have the correct one for $7.95. Good luck
