Default My trip to Germany and Austria.

The new wife and I spent about a week in germany and austria, we had a wonderful time spending 2 nights in each of the following cities (munich, salzburg, and vienna).

After missing our connection to munich we ended up sitting in the dulles airport for 5 hrs and then finally got to head to germany. Our first day was kind of wash due to travel issues.

The next morning we decided to hit the audi museum and also did the factory tour. No pics allowed in the tour. But here are a few from the museum...
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/mrIhOyKL7Ujbh65caBIjZw"><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/jon.tibbetts/SP0ffYZ6m6I/AAAAAAAADu0/OyvJvK36frE/s400/DSCF0290.jpg" /></a>
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/96DDc1SmtnkKnlm9uPuUlQ"><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/jon.tibbetts/SP0e2Dgxg6I/AAAAAAAADnQ/XYe4qI6KGH8/s400/DSCF0231.jpg" /></a>

The next day we did a royal castle tour and visited the linderoff and newswanstein castles (spelling)

Later that night we hit the hofbrauhaus in munich. Now that place as some big beers and prezels
Me:

The next day we hoped a train and headed for salzburg austria, it was raining a lot so hit decided to do the ice caves tour on the other side of the alps... (1 hour bus ride). This place was awesome....
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/o4LcUpwKIbqjTwGIsHiA-g"><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/jon.tibbetts/SPxiT95zIzI/AAAAAAAADLw/J0i0tZ4joh4/s400/DSC01614.JPG" /></a>

With the continued rain... we ended up getting on the train and headed to vienna. Again another nice city... Really nice people. All the taxi drivers hate bush too... lol
We ended up that day see a monistery, and doing an under ground lake tour.

The next day, we did some sight seeing of vienna, did the hugh ferris wheel, and took a boat ride up the river and canal.

We then flew back the next day to Boston and still recovering from jet lag.... Can't wait to go back.

Default Nice pics, but didn't your parents teach you to look and not touch in museums...

Soon they'll have the old Auto Union cars roped off.

I had a blast in Munich and Salzburg. Ironically, the best hamburger I ever ate was in salzburg.

back in May... incredible to say the least. I want to go back in such a bad way... I definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there. Amazing food, great people, awesome lifestyle...

Default lol... how is the Mrs@AxisMotorsport liking your current road trip...

thats cool, I'm still trying to get caught up on things here at work/home. Gonna finish the wagon this weekend and get some snow tires for her. Hopefully I can start driving it more.
