Ask anyone who has moved into this country and has become a full fledge citizen how they feel. My gf is south african, and came here when she was 11. Stories you hear will make you cringe about what she and her family have been through there. Granted, the US isn't the biggest step up from certain areas in Europe, but it still gives you civil liberties to go wherever, whenever you please w/o getting questioned.

just my 2 cents, right or wrong. I agree that we as a country have some things that are a lil bit shameful, but we def have no reason not to be proud of ourselves for many of our day to day aspects that we all take for granted.
