Default N/A Block / 2.7T head... anyone done it

I want more power! woo! I was pondering if its possible to take a 30v block v6 n/a and swap the s4 head on there. That way you would have a 2.8T with the manifolds all there and stuff.

Also, would it be possible to put the 2.7T manifolds and intake manifolds onto the 30v v6 engine? Thanks in advance!

Mehr boost macht frei!

Default Just buy an S4, or swap an entire S4 drivetrain into your car...

the heads might bolt up, but making it all work would be a HUGE challange that most likely no one here woudl even consider trying in real life.

I seem to recall that someone put an S4 engine in a Passat..

well, whats different about the block....

i think it might be better to put the s4 manifolds onto the 2.8 30v :-)

Default The 2.7t has a unique block, not the same as the 2.8. I am sure that the internals are different as

well...

well then im going to do a custom setup with the 30v 2.8 head and bolting turbo manifolds to it, not big on the whole supercharger thing... especially when theres an S4 ecu and manifolds that can bolt up :-)

Go ahead, but when you blow your engine to pieces, don't come crying to us.
