Dude...stop bashing the LLtek intake......

I have it on my stage III powered A4. The kit has given me nothing but smiles. No problems At all. Smooth acceleration, and most of all MORE POWER IN UPPER RPM DRIVING. I don't see ANY reduced acceleration at all. Im tired of you always spitting out that it is worthless. I know plenty of people who have them on their cars and are completely happy with them.

Regards,

Adam S

To each his own. I had the kit and took it off cause it's complete ****e.

As much as I disagree with mark (I'm quite happy with my Lltek intake)..........

he is speaking from personal experience, and has the right to express his opinion on it.

Exactly - I'm not saying "I've heard it sucks cause..." I'm saying it DOES suck.

I've HEARD that the 2.8 kit is actually worthwhile. Whilst I can't really see any basis for such a claim beyond the smiling faces of it's owners, I'm willing to accept it.

Re: the 1.8t version, I had it on my car for about 10,000 miles. After extensive testing, I decided it was a detriment to the performance of the car. After removing the kit, I noticed smoother acceleration, and more power off the line.

JamesR did extensive temp testing on teh kit too. Intake temps went up considerably at all times but highway speeds. Perhaps that's why Audi2K's saying that it's faster at higher revs - cause he's not losing power up there, as opposed to down low.
