Need Advice QUICK...>Anyone ever flush the coolant?

ok i drained the rad..Is ther a port on the block i have to drain also....my car is outside running now . It didnt take as much coolant as i thought it would.. ???

they should be in the same system..

if you drain the radiator, whatever inside teh block should be drained also

how many quarts of coolant does it take anyway?
