NEED HELP

i have a 1999 A4 1.8T and i'm not sure how to find out which kind of engine is in it i need to know if it has the AEB engine. if anyone knows how i can find this out lemme know please. i kinda feel stupid for not already knowing this, but i need help.

engine code is stamped on the front engine lifting bracket (visible after removing engine cover

above fuel injectors).

Or, call your dealer and give them your VIN. They should be able to tell.
