Default Need some help with identifying a noise/feeling

Hey guys let me start off with the problem. For about a month I started getting this noise/feeling from my front end when I turn. It is kind of like a "WaaauuWaaauuWaaauuu" Pulsing or surging noise, from the passenger side. I can also feel this pulsing a little in the steering and in the general car, but not much. But everything is quite and nice when the wheels are going straight. At first my father and I thought it was the wheel bearing in the front end.

After some searching on the forums, it seems like the wheel bearing noises go away when you turn, my develop when I turn. Then I saw some things about a CV Joint.

If anyone has experienced this or knows what I'm talking about it would be great to fill me in. The car is a 98 A4 TQM with 103k on it.

Ok cool, now I checked autozone to pick up some new fronts, I know a friend in a shop that does favors for me so he will install them or let me use his shop for a 24 pack =D. But was looking at advanced autoparts and they have two sizes? 75mm and an 82mm outer diameter? I looked at ECS and it seems 75mm is right, is this correct?
