Default Not boosting properly. Help?

So, I just rebuilt the head and the engine runs like a dream. Timing couldn't be better and all the boost leaks are fixed, but it isn't boosting like it was before. The turbo spools, there is boost and the bov is active but it acts like there is clog or something of the sort and it isn't accelerating like it did before. Any suggestions to why or maybe what the issue is?

hm, i don't know man.

what I have read though is that BOV's aren't good for a4's - that Diverter Valves are the preferable option.

also, idk, just a thought that maybe your engine needs some time to "settle in" after a rebuild. ?

I believe the diverter valve is what I have. I just call it a bov because I don't know the proper name for it lol sounds like a sequential bov now though to where before it was just one sneeze.

It's been running and driving for four days now. I've been taking it easy-ish on the engine. I'd just like to get this boost thing figured out cause I want everything to be in **** condition.
