If you have a GIAC socketed chip, you can trade that in for a $495 credit. You will only have to pay for the additional programs. The upgrade cost is $150 for a 3x flash and $250 for a 5x flash.

If you have a Vag-Com, there is a free download on GIAC's website that will allow you to switch with the cable. If you want the GIAC Handheld Flashloader, the cost is $150

GIAC dealers will need you to send the computer to them to do the upgrade. ***WE CANNOT SEND YOU A CHIP!!***

They will also need to reflash a stock chip rather than the encrypted GIAC chip you currently have, so there may be a minor cost to do so. AWE will charge and additional $50 if you do not have a socketed stock chip for us to flash.

If you are already flashed, you just have to pay for the upgrade.
