Odometer

Anyone know how to reset the odometer? Does it have it's own battery which holds the mileage?

I have heard that info is stored on a seperate chip so you cant reset it but i dont know for sure.

I guess you would have to locate that chip and reprogram it.. you would really need to konw what you were doing. if you time has any value i dont think its worth trying to do just to scam a few grand via odometer fraud

If memory serves it can only be advanced not wound back.
