I had the same problem with a vw changer. I brought it to a reputable repair shop, and it only cost $80. It was a little broken part inside, very common on cd changers. It was fixed in two days.

Please let me know what happens, I am looking into buying another changer from the same people and would like to know how they handle customers. Another thing, how old is the changer?

OEM Sport Suspension Differences
 

I've been eyeing the classifieds for what seems like an eternity for a NON-quattro OEM sport suspension (springs, struts, sways) for a 98.5 1.8T. There are always quattro sport suspensions for sale, which leaves me wondering if anything from the quattro version is usable on the Front-trak, such as the entire front assembly and maybe the rear springs, struts or bar? If so, I could pick up the non-transferable items from Clair, right?
