Off Topic:Physics gurus please help.

doing a lab for physics. where you measure the anglular acceleration (alpha) using air mounted disks.

Question. Describe a procedure by which you measure the frictional forces in a system.
I have no clue how...any help would be appreciated.

Spin the discs up, then measure the decceleration of the discs.

If there were no friction, the discs should in theory never stop.
