Recently my Audi dealer (with highly qualified certified technicians) changed my oil and overfilled by about 3/4" on the dip stick. (normally i change my own oil, but was lazy this time.)
I took it back a couple weeks later and them resolve this. Since that time, i've noticed a significant oil leak (a few drops per day). I can't tell exactly where it's coming from. And it is still leaking even though the oil level is now correct.
Question... could operating at elevated oil levels for a couple week cause a leak that persists? I'm suspicious.

where is it leaking from?
the oil cooler (filter screws onto it) could be loose or the gasket needs replacing. That's common.

can't really say until you are more specific

or try to trace leaks with cardboard under the car, over night.

Maybe the mechanic forgot to replace the gasket on the drain plug. Check for that.
