ok so stock wheels are 205 55 16 .. can i go any wider on these wheels or just get new wheels?

I used a 215-55-16 with non-sport... filled the gap well and worked great.
But a 225-50 is better, just be careful as some tires will *just* rub in that size. Uncommon but possible with a really wide/square tread pattern.
