Default And it has too much pressure on the coolant cap

if I leave 't open all water is gonna go out, it feels like water is not circulating at all...

Default It's probably fine....

How old is the car, what engine, and how many miles?

You may be due for a timing belt change soon, and if you are, I would recommend you do the timing belt, water pump, and thermostat all at once. For now, you really need to address the overheating issue. A thermostat is a cheap part, and easy enough to change on it's own. If that doesn't solve the issue, then the next step will be the waterpump...but as I said, at that point, you will probably want to consider spending extra money and doing the timing belt work with it.

Default You're supposed to have pressure there...

The reason the pressure is getting too high is because the coolant is getting too hot. Pressure is proportional to temperature.
