Part III of the Car Saga-Pictures of the bumper damage...

Well, I dropped off my car at Precision European Autobody today... they will be tearing it down today and tomorrow. The sooner they get an adjuster to come and look at it, the sooner they can start work. I borrowed the digital camera of the shop to take some pictures of the new bumper damage. The main support on the right is broken, and the underneat area is cracked wide open in several areas. The side grilles are side semi-intact, and are sitting in the back seat so they dont get further damage. Also broken is the Europlate frame, and my Europlate is lying on Rt. 66 somewhere near Vienna, VA. After I dropped it off I waited for the VRE (Virginia Railway Express) Commuter Train to take me back to DC.. A 4 hour wait since they dont run in the middle of the day. I stopped by Linton Motorsports and looked at their Audis and BMWs. Small but nice selection. One of the guys who worked their used to work for Autoauthority and Currys Auto Service... Nice guy... Anyway, This starts DAY ONE of being without the car... the count begins.

If you get another bracket, can I have your old one...

dealer snapped it off in their car wash at the 60K service. They said they'll reimpburse me for a new one though.

My Euroframe bracket? That thing is toast... hanging loosely off the car... only $10 though.

Also, I'm working on getting my relatives to send over a German dealer frame or two from the local Audi Dealer to where I am born.

Audi Dealer in Bad Kreuznach, Germany...
