Default Performance Difference?
1st Post: All I can afford is
a 97 1.8 Turbo, will I notice
a difference in acceleration
by not getting the V-6? Thanks

Default If you can afford a $500 chip, then heck no there's no difference :)
A properly driven chipped 1.8t is faster than a stock 2.8. Stock the 1.8t has a little pep but is still pretty slow.

Default Trust me... even stock its a fun car to drive! Especially since everyone knows 97's are the fastest
