Hey guys,
So I decided to snap a few pictures of the car to show everyone but I also had a few questions about things I need to fix. mirror
I have the same issue and was told that happens with all the heated mirrors. Nice car!

on the side mirror. .it's common issue. After years of heat mirrors causes the brownness, I replaced my driver's side from ECS and it looks so nice! You can get just the mirror from ecstuning.com or purems.com . ..vs others will charge you for the complete housing.
on the moulding. .I'd replace all 4 of em. if you still have the missing lower molding you'll see that part broke off due to rust. It's only a matter of time before the others start to fall off. Plus if you buy all of em, it's cheaper and last I checked ecstuning.com had free shipping. |
Yes, those are the correct moldings. Since I'm not allowed to bash ECS, I have to leave it at that.
The mirrors do that with age. All of them on almost all German cars, so don't fret. Get factory (OEM) blind spot mirrors and you'll wonder how you ever did without them. The passenger mirror is exactly the same, flat with the blind spot eliminator. They're heated and take 3 minutes each to install.
