Please help.....rattling sound in the engine bay while idling/running...
Could it be my engine support needing to be replaced? I was trying to look for the source but cannot seem to determine where. The sound is pretty much comes from the deep side of the engine bay by the intercooler. The rattling has a constant sound (like continuous marbles rolling) regardless of RPM range.
I think its the engine support as the sound disappears upon sudden jerks of the car/engine when reversing or hard braking. Please give advice. TIA!

I had a similar sounding problem, but only under 3500 RPM...
Turned out my timing belt tensioner had crapped out and the timing belt skipped a tooth.
Car sounded like a diesel. At first I thought a dust shield was WAY loose, but not so.

If it wasn't under warranty, how much would you have spent?
Damn dealer might say its because of my lowered suspension. They might use this to skip having to shoulder the warratny.

It was under warranty, but I switched my stock chip back in...
I honestly don't know how much, but I think it was 2 or 3 hours of labor...going from memory, so I'm not very accurate. Sorry.
