APR vent pod

APR vent pod
I just got my APR boost gauge vent pod today and when trying to put it in it does not "snap" in the vent. Does anyone know if I am doing something wrong or did I just get a messed up pod? It appears to be about an 1/8 in short in width. Thanks.
