It is possible for a clutch to slip more in one gear than in another?

Default It is possible for a clutch to slip more in one gear than in another?

I've noticed that after spirited driving that first gear seems to slip...rev's start to climb but car isn't accelerating enough...but it doesn't slip say in 4-5 gear if i go WOT on the freeway. Does this make sense?
