Power Lock problems
I have a 1997 A4 2.8 Quattro and for some reason the unlock button in the car won't work. The lock button works just fine and the on the remote both the lock and unlock buttons work. I know it is not the pump that works, so I think that it is the actual button that doesn't work. I am just wondering what to do to fix it.

Yes, get an estimate, but also check the price of the switch itself.
Likely, you could buy a new one and replace it.
Is there a door lock on the passenger side? If so ,you could swap them and see if the problem follows the switch or not. I can't remember if there is or not... hmmm.... losing my mind....
