I called Clair to order the CD changer for my 97 A4 with Delta radio. They indicated that the price was $526. I told them about the $479 price listed on this board and they said the price had risen due to price increases from Audi. I had them talk to the manager who said he would honor the $479 price for me, but that the price was really $526.<p>Has anybody else here heard of a price increase on the CD changer for the Delta unit? I looked in the archives but found no reference to the increase. I forgot to ask Clair how long the new price had been in effect, but it sounded like it had been more than 2-3 weeks.<p>Is there a special discount for this forum? If not, I hope nobody else has been waiting to purchase the CD player like I had, since the price is now $526.<p>Mark

A price change occured becuase of supply issues. We have corrected the issue and have brought the price back down to $ 479.00.

Is that for the Delta radio or the Concert radio? From what I know, the Alpine unit for the Delta was always more expensive. That's the first I've seen for getting the Alpine unit that cheaply.<p>Mark

The price is for the Delta radio 96-98.5 model years. The part is a Audi factory part, called audi and they will honor ALL Audi factory parts.<br>

The changer is a new Audi factory unit and a Audi warrantiable item. You can also call the main supplier for the distributors and the contact is Bruce Herman at 408/848-4205.

Not me ... I work for IBM, just traced the add through the Quattro Quarterly fall issue, found the supplier and then a distributer. Nothing fishy on these docks !
