Problems with engine over revving

He said he's chipped...so the rev limiter Is most likely not present.

Default phhfft. I'd held the car at redline bouncing off of the rev limited on the track
because if I shifted, I'd be braking by the time I was back in gear.

it's still there, just more likely moved up

What teh SilverStreakin' said. Just moves it up, does not remove it completly

Default Obviously so lets say my boost is still peaking after I release the clutch..
.. any suggestions?

Default Foot is off the gas the the RPMs cont. to rise...
I was playing around with it this weekend and noticed that if I hold a constant RPM before shifting, the RPMs wont jump when shifting. Only when I accelerate at a continues rate, will it then jump up when i push in the clutch.
