Default Pulled the valve cover to replace chains....

I thought it looked pretty clean, no scoring at all on the cams. Here's the inside of the cover. Gasket is pretty hard though, it was time(already replaced at least once).

Thanks. Let me tell you, it was a sigh of relief after looking at the rad and fan clutch. ; ) My guess is the family will get rid of it within the next year, but it looks good for 200k. The new chains should really put the timing on spec.

Chains stretch, the car is at slightly over 90k, with a new w-pump & t-belt, etc. going on the car, I'm hoping not to go in there for another 60k. They are showing there age. They don't line up to new spec alignment points, but at 90k, they won't. You think the tensioners should be replaced as well?

Default rtv in the four corners is how everyone does it....

That helps to hold it in place while everything is torqued down.
