Default question..
a while ago i almost bought a 97 12v 2.8..i didn't, and now i found a 97 1.8t..just wondering is there anything i should no about 97 i.8t's before i consider it...im only asking becasue when i was about to buy the 2.8 i didnt realize it was a 12v and i couldn't mod much. so just wondering is there anything that can restrict my options with a 97 1.8t..thanks guys

AEB = very tuner friendly.

Default I just did the same thing. I had a 96 A4 12v and switched it with a 97 1.8t...
I did know what I was getting myself into as in terms of modibility when I bought the 12v. Hope everything goes well.
