If you leave it switched on with ignition on with engine running, the set should reset itself and allow you to input the code after about an hour... only three attempts until it goes into safe mode again then another long wait...

If this doesn't work its off to a radio specialist to reset the unit but if this doesn't work either, then its an expensive job to replace what ever controls the memory.

Had the same last year and found it easier to purchase a new SH unit.
