funk button? Never seen so many pics yet had no idea what you did

My take is Funk button in dash to cut off the power to 12v outlet he put in trunk . Purpose?
 

The reasoning knowing Stephan is so he can have a magnetic emergency light on the the roof and wire running into the trunk. He would use this on calls into work for rescue squad/FD runs. Am I correct? Alternate use is for electric cooler in the trunk and he could turn on power when he needs cold German brews .

You installed a 12v outlet in the trunk... Cool.

You wired up eurospec "Funk" switch to turn on power to the 12v outlet remotely? What do you plan on running via the outlet? Radar?
