Random question of the day: How light of a wheel does a street car need?
BBS RGR's <18lbs, CH's <22lbs, OZ Hydra < 26, rs4 DTM's < ?lbs? Or should I just say fvck it and stay with my 15" stock uglies and spend the money on booze and other stupid stuff?
I have made arrangements for preventative maintenance.

depends on where you are, and the size of the wheel... and BBS CH's are not <22lbs
Go search for JamesR's infamous BBS CHunky series... they were more like 24-25 as I recall? For me, my ~25lb Oettinger RE's have been good in 18x8. I drive in New Jersey and I'm not sure I wouldn't have bent my wheels a whole lot more if it wasn't for the strong RE. I've nailed some potholes pretty nicely and gotten away with it. Don't make the mistake of getting an ultralight wheel for the street and giving up on strength.

My 15" wheels aren't that light and light but brittle is not what I am looking for. The roads around
here are very bad and I am not a patient person. I need something rigid, but not too heavy and not so ugly.
