Default Random trouble starting engine...
When i turn the key, everything seems fine, dash lights are on, radio starts, engine checks are ok, and the engine starts to make the normal staring noise, but stops 1 second into the process.

all week the car has been having a noticeably harder and harder time starting, and 1/3 times the ABS and the ASR (anti slip? circle with hazard sign in the middle) lights would stay on after all the engine checks, but the engine was still starting and would remain running (throughout the week). when these lights would stay on, I noticed the AC would also turn on... i never run my AC, so it's not that i turned the car off with the AC running.

I'm sorta stumped, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Whatn codes is it throwing? Have it scanned and report back.

hrmm, maybe ill push it to a local checker or something for a scan.

it seems like the ignition is fine. it rolls over and all. i really wouldnt know.

if you have a manual trans.. why not bump start it?

try charging the battery, and or jumping it to makes sure its not the battery... start simple!
