Default received a letter from AoA about my warranty...
stating that it expired and i can renew it. first, it doesn't matter since i sold the car months ago, but i had 4 years, 50k miles worth of warranty when i first got the car. i had it delivered in june/july of 2001. 4 years hasn't passed, and last time i was at the dealer, i only had 45k miles on it. why are they saying it's expired!?!?

probably estimating that you've gone over the 50k by the frequency of your service records

Default New owner probably took it in for service.
Teh VIN was flagged as out of warranty but AOA has not yet realized that you're no longer the owner of the car.

I just got one to go in for my 60K service, but I only have 56K miles...estimated a little early...

hmm... I didn't realize AoA offered extended warranties (aside from Audi Assured).

sorry, it wasnt for a warranty, it was for audi assured. it was from AoA, not a dealer.
