Default Replacing stock cat and downpipe w/ 200celHFC and 70mm downpipe. Welding only option?

I am planning to go k04 with a few mods including new DP and HFC, and I was told the new DP and HFC will have to be welded.

Since I'm totally new to these parts, does the stock cat come welded to the stock DP under the flex coupler, already?

Default Having gone the K04 route before, unless you're getting a killer deal on the hardware

just go with a GTRS or similar... way more bang for the buck. If you go with a full 28RS, there are already downpipe options available.

If you do decide to go w/ the K04, there are also already options for HFCs and downpipes that will flow enough. I don't know that you'll gain much more, if any, from what you're describing.
