Default Report following my A4 rear-ended by the new Beetle last evening

First, thanks for those who gave me advice on how to treat my A4 after rear-ended by a new Beetle last evening. Today, I called the Beetle owner and decided to go to the body shop together to checked out the internal damage of the rear bumper. The result is there's no internal damge to the rear bumper, but there ate two licence plate screws marks on my silver bumper which is very obvious under the sunlight. I decided to replace a whole new bumper instead of lokking at those ugly marks. The Beetle driver paid for everything on my bumper's repair. The horrible thing is this guy still thinks I am driving a HONDA ACCORD!!! :< He said "I am sorry for the damage on your Honda Accord, I thought Honda is very flimsy. They are very solid though". I told him this is the AUDI A4, the best all-around sports sedan on the market. I also told him because this is a German-made (sorry M-class and Z3) Audi, so that its so strongly made. He finally know this is an Audi. He first refused to paid for the repair when he discovered this is an Audi, and he kept saying that I drove an Accord last evening. What the hell is happening with those people who think we A4 owners are Accord owners? I will pick up my brand-new rear bumper A4 on monday morning.
Tom
97 A4 1.8TQM (a real Audi 100%)
99 JETTA GLS 2.0 (a real VW 100%)

Default I made the same mistake tonight......

I was coming up on a car from behind, I thought it was an A4 and when I got closer Isaw that it was an Accord. The rear end looks kind of similar.
Brad Bilut 98.5 2.8Qtip

Default A4 mistakes as Accord, new Jetta mistakes as a Passat B5

I completely agree. I follow a 94-96 Accord home last evening and it looks really like a Accord. I think the rear lights lighten up at night really make it look like an A4. Another funny thing is my girlfriend's sister mistakes my new Jetta as a B5 Passat from the rear. She always ask me where's your Passat.
Kinda funny isn't it?
Tom
97 A4 1.8TQM
99 JETTA GLS 2.0
