Resyncing remote

Hi,

I have replaced the vacuum pump in my audi and now i need to resync my remote. I only have one remote so i was wondering if this is possible or whether i need to get another remote before i can do this??

Check this link out. You don't need two remotes, but you do need two working keys. I believe even the valet key will work as long as you can turn the ignition cylinder.

1999 A4 quattro advant station wagon.

I only have one remote and no other keys/remote.

I dont have another key/remote just one, what is the best way to get another key? I live in New Zealand

The quickest way would be to go to the local Audi agency and see if they have, or can order, another key for you. I assume the Avant estate is a model normally sold in New Zealand.
