Roofrack question

I picked the above roofrack up today thinking that these would work for my car. They were on a passat (cant remember the year now) but since it had the B5 body style sticker I assumed that they would fit my car. Well going by the above pictures they don't unless I am missing something...

By the way, I've found the factory racks quite sturdy. With 2 18ft kayaks on top, they were absolutely fine. Dare I say, they have even hauled some lineal cedar siding(very carefully!). Hope you've gotten in some decent diving this season.
