Is rust-oleum metallic metal finish paint ok to use to mist my rotors? Zimmermanns rust so i wanted

Default Is rust-oleum metallic metal finish paint ok to use to mist my rotors? Zimmermanns rust so i wanted

to mist them so that the none-disc part doesnt look like crap. Is it ok if i get a little on the rotor itself?

I may be wrong, but shouldnt you use high temp paint?

Default its not goign to hurt my pads though? I know someone else did this here. Im just doing the part

that connects to the wheel. Not exactly the disc itself.

if you paint the rotors, it'll just come right off, if you paint the calipers, they get far too hot

but will the rust-oleum stay on the parts that arent rubbed by the brake pads?

but i image that even those parts get Very hot.. I would invest in some high temp paint

Default i used high-temp engine paint. seems to be sticking so far.

only painted the hub portion.

tape it up real good if you get a little spray on there I wouldn't worry about it
