you need more than just the engine and unless you are going to run stand alone its kinda complex
ask RAD69 he's kinda been there and done that.

Since you have a V6 already
AFAIK - you are in better shape than I was (1.8T).
You need the engine harness and ECU plus a bunch of bs parts. You will have to splice harnesses in the ECU box and get a DBW pedal assembly. You may have some issues with the AC/RAD support/Radiator etc. You will also need downpipes and exhaust and I am not sure if the trannies will bolt up - I think they will.
Bottom line - it can be done, but by no means is it a simple swap(read expensive). If you have the time, money and know how - it is totally do-able. If you are looking to throw in a better engine over the weekend - guess again...
