To IronMike and others: I'm thinking about getting seat covers also (I want sheepskins) but am concerned about covering the side impact airbags mounted in the seats. Anyone have thoughts on the safety of this, any workarounds?

You can get sheepskin covers that leave the
side seat bolsters exposed, so that the seat
air bag is not covered. I've had them for
18 mon. on my 1.8T. Work great.

My Wet Okole covers are side impact airbag compatible. They leave a hole in the side for the airbag
