Service Question for 2001 A4 1.8T - Does the 2001 have the same timing belt issues as the earlier ..

When should the timing belt and waterpump on a 2001 A4 be changed.
What other "major" serivce is needed after my car goes off warranty.

It's listed in the service manual for 105 or 120 K, I don't remember which...
...personally I'll change mine @ around 80K, as I'd rather be safe than sorry and no doubt the big turbo kit puts some additional stress on all the motor components including the timing belt etc...
I think the 2.8 motors are the ones that folks really have to be most concerned with, and the general consensus is to change it at around 60K with those.
