So are G-stop SS brake lines any good?
if not, what would be a good set of SS brake lines to put on my A4.
I'm flushing the brakes with fresh fluid in the up coming months, and figured I might want to change out the brake lines to the calipers since they're now 10 yrs old with 130k on them... thanks guys! |
i have stoptech rear lines for sale...brand new.
|
I have 2 sets to be installed. Used them in the past and like them.
I just have not had time. I have a whole list of mods sitting waiting for my attention. Both for my car and the ladys car.
|
I have them on the rear. but be prepared to make the hard line in between. the fittings are soft.

so you're happy with the quality then?
of the lines, not the soft fittings :)
btw, how much were those rear lines if you don't mind me asking? |
you don't have the fronts too by chance do ya ;)
I wanna do all 4 corners at once so I don't have to rebleed the system down the road
|
stoptech will sell just front ss lines
|
buy some flarenut wrenchs as well and soak the rear fittings..
and then cross your fingers. I got mine to undo mine w/o buggering up the hardline and fitting to badly.
|
flare nut wrenches?
drawing a mental blank on what those look like... got a pic?
I got a whole slew of different open end wrenches and small mechanic's wrenches... but not sure if I have a flare nut wrench :-\ |
i only have the rears.
