Speed control doesn't work

Can any one point me to what I need to look at to fix the speed control. It was working fine one minute, then it stopped. Something to clean maybe?? doesn't respond at all any more. Thanks ..

Clean the switch with switch contact cleaner. If that fails, have the CC module rebuilt by Module Master.

I had similar issues with my 96. Went though several modules. I sold the car before delving further, but my suspicion was that the foot pedal switches were the issue. It runs off of a vacume system.

I'm with Nate, spray some contact cleaner in the switch first. But if that doesn't do it, there is way more to that system than the module. You need to do some diagnosing. Check out this article. Very good DIY on troubleshooting the Cruise on that car.
