My G/F drove my care through 4-6 inches of water yesterday and now my car is making a scuffing noise at regualr intervals depending on road speed coming from under my car. At around 15 mph or higher it turns into almost a card in bicycle spokes noise. I put my car on jack stands and rotated the tires and found the scuff noise coming from the drive shaft center bearing area.... my Center Bearing seems intact and when I give it a good shake the shaft does move alittle horizontally but not at all vertically.... anyone have any clue whats happend to my car? Any response would be much appreaciated.

your driveshaft support support or the bearing itself is shot. easy replacement. Luckily they make just the support in a package now.
