Default Suggestions for maintenance with 01V tranny out?

Hi there,

Owner of a '99.5 1.8t (Q) Sedan with the 5HP19FLA tip trans. here.
I'm having to drop the tranny to replace my torque converter due to the infamous lockup piston seal failure .

What I'd like to know before doing the job, is what other soft parts (driveshaft/trans seals or bearings) should I look to replace in the process? With all the work to get it out, I'd like to address a few other accessible problem spots if possible.

P.S. I only know the general step by step for dropping an auto awd, as I've never done this one before, so info on any good tips or irregular processes involved in removing the 01V would be greatly appreciated.

P.P.S. Car has 95,000 miles on it.

Thanks

plenty of lubricant/pb blaster, before u start taking the driveshaft bolt off, and axles bolts, overall its not that difficult unless its crowded place like kack stands,
goodluck

That thing is very heavy, so be cautious when unbolting it and moving it out from under the car.
