Support or not support that is the question.(question to 2001 A4 1.8T owners)

I am confused.
Could anybody tell me about lumbar support for 2001 A4 1.8T? I called audiusa and they tell me that A4 1.8T does not have it. And dealer said opposit claiming that he has some 2001 models. So
do we have lumbar support on A4 1.8T or we don't???. Could somebody tell more about A4 seats at all?
Thank you

RH Leon has a 2001 and says that lumbar support is provided.

I've heard about it but which one A4 1.8 or A4 2.8?

could they be sport seats?

Lumbar standard....

I sat in a 2001 yesterday with leatherette, it had power lumbar.

Was it 1.8T or 2.8?

I have the 1.8T with leatherette seats. Electric lumbar is provided for driver and passenger.

Re: Lumbar support on the 1.8T

I test drove a 1.8T in 2/2001 with leatherette seats which had power lumbar support. These were not sport seats and it was definitely a 1.8T, not a 2.8.
However, I phoned Audi and they said lumbar support was not standard on the 1.8T, so I don't know whether to expect on my ordered car or not. Has anything been clarified since this thread began in 2000?
