Suspension upgrade options for 96 FWD 2.8?
I'd like to lower the car a couple of inches, as it is stock now....complete with the "Liftkit" look.
What are my options? I'm not looking for a perfect suspension setup....more like a cheap way to lower the car. I don't know how much longer I'm keeping it. thanks... |
mine used to be a 96 2.8 stock susp. Look what bilsteins and H&R sports did.

I'm selling Eibach Pro-Kit for 2.8 FWD (more)
I've got an Eibach Pro-kit that I decided not to install and Bilstein Sport Shocks to go with it if interested. Eibach should lower 1.4" front and 1.3" rear. I don't have any pics but I'm sure some folks here would be willing to post. Email with questions about price, etc.

Looks good...BTW, Your car looks exactly like mine..color, wheels, grille, etc.

geting my euro projectors soon :)..and maybe some new style tailights if i feel frisky.
The color rocks though. have only seen one more this color in person since i've had it
|
Funny you mention that.....I agree on the color, but today...
I was at the dealership getting a part, looking around thinking the same thing, and what do I see??
An old lady, driving feebly, doing a 10 point turnaround in the middle of the lot, in a Car EXACTLY like ours! No RS4 Grille of course...but I had to stop and observe a moment of silence. I'm thinking about Euros too, but I want suspension first. |
Bilsteins and Eibachs. $620 shipped from Shox.com, then $200 or so to install.
