Tail light socket problems....
 

when i put a bulb in and turn my night lights on....it turns on, but when i press the brake...it doesn't get brighter.... my brake lights don't seem to work on the left side.. Anyone know whats wrong?

Make sure it's a double filiment bulb. There should be 2 wires on the inside of the bulb and 2
 

metal connectors on the bottome of the bulb.

have you tried to change the bulb holder yet?

yeah, make sure you replaced it with the proper bulb.
