Technical question re: engine codes on APR flash...

First of all, I noticed the other day that when I switched from stock to 93 oct race (i have 2 programs stock/race) that the race program seemed as if it was bringing on a slight limp mode and I was lacking boost. Then i went back to the stock mode and it was running like the race program, as if the whole thing somehow reversed itself. The tuner that flashed in the program no longer exists, and APR says that I can have it re-flashed at another tuner, but i forgot to ask if I will pay them labor (if so, it's GIAC time).
The other thing is a question regarding engine codes and separate ecu programs. If I get a CEL while I am in stock mode, then I switch it to race, can I pull that code from the ECU? Or, does each program store its own codes? Just curious... HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

codes will still be there...you have stock and 93 programs... dont call it race

race = 100+ octane programming.

You may be hitting a limp mode issue with the 93 program, if there is something wrong with your car (boost leak, bad maf, etc)

It also could be that he's doing it all wrong. I used to clear codes and to TBA

with my APR SW and wonder about the poor performance lol... If he has the TBA and code clearing thing..(I don't remember the name) he should be able to clear the codes.
