Tein Coilovers, Timing Belt, Oil Cooler/oil change..Eurocode Tuning.(Longish)
Well I won't have A Digi cam for a while so no pics yet.
The coilovers are amazing (thus far) I've had them less then a day but WOW. The way the car handles is amazing versus the Non Sport stock springs. Driving down from L.A. yesterday the car just bit the road and was really responsive.
Nothing to amazing with the timing belt. Changed it at 72,638 miles, the old one was perfect. It's likely that the guy I bought it off did change the belt at 60,000... but just the belt. The waterpump and tensioner bearing were not good. So I'm glad to have that done.
In March I ended up hitting a chuck of concrete an destroying my oil pan. Well I guess I also bent the Oil Cooler because when the tech went to put the new filter on the filter was leaking everywhere. He pulled of the old oil cooler and the shaft the Oil Filter spins onto. The shaft was bent and not usable. He had a junk 2.8L sitting there and grabbed the cooler off that and threw it on. Perfect.
Finally... I got all my work done by Eurocode Tuning. I will go back definatley a great shop. Was there for 10hrs getting everything done. The total bill was just over 2000$. That would be my only complaint. The bill was originally estimated at under 2000$ so I went ahead with it. But then I got called an hour later saying the bill was just over 2000$ because hewas pricing me out for the 1.8T instead of the 2.8L. Anyways that was no big deal. Pics soon to come.

For some reason I thought the Teins were only for FWD.. Are they the basics, and how much?
They make a good product. Is it a full adjustable coil over? My only fear is I am in the midwest and dont want the perches to seive on the sleve when I try to adjust after winter

$850 is a great deal. I just put Koni's on for a little more. I was looking for the same thing....
Is the rebound adjustable?
Does it feel much stiffer? Did you have Sport Suspension before?

Doesn't look like they make 1.8TQ setups.Couldnt I run FWD 1.8T in the front & 2.8/S4 rears?
That way the front weights should be fine and dandy, and the rear will be setup for quattro.
