VTB(Erik) 03-02-2006 02:36 PM

Nope. I got the most worthless e-mail ever, no tracking # and wrong shipping date.

starting ... 03-02-2006 02:40 PM

VTB(Erik) 03-02-2006 02:48 PM

The site is worthless as well. No number and a shipping date of 1/27/06.

I can;t get my new Ecode TP to stop throwing codes, tried 1 42002 & 2 42002 foulers

kevcpA4 ( | ) 03-02-2006 04:23 PM

Tracking numbers are for FedEx not UPS like the link tells you...try FedEx for tracking...

BSK 03-02-2006 05:13 PM

7th mar estimated arrival

now since this is coming via fedex and the fedex dude signed my name last december on his pad i wonder if he will do this again this time. it is actually considered a felony to sign in virginia someone elses name. we shall see

http://www.fedex.com/Tracking?ascend_header=1&clienttype=dotcom&amp ;cntry_code=us&l

BSK 03-02-2006 05:15 PM

how did you drill the non foulers?

mwc951 03-02-2006 05:24 PM

1/2" first, then 9/16" with a ton of dremeling,2 42002 didn't work, 1 42002 didn't work......

tomorrow I'm gonna try 1 42009(short) & the hogged out 42002. I don't have a VAG yet, just a generic ODD II code reader, it keeps reading 136 & 171. Idles for ****, belches black smoke.

BSK 03-02-2006 05:27 PM

the difference between the 09 and 02 are that one comes with a gasket and one without

i havent played with mine yet since i am missing my testpipe. however you need both foulers one drilled out and then screwed into the 2nd one to make it work.

mwc951 03-02-2006 05:29 PM

Yep, still threw codes with drilled & non drilled 02's....the 08 is short, the 02 is long

BSK 03-02-2006 06:09 PM

you are right i never noticed that when i bought them the 02 say long while the 09 just say gasket

i didnt take a side by side shot but the 02's are just a tap longer than the 09's.

which ones do you have on the top and bottom?

kevcpA4 ( | ) 03-02-2006 06:23 PM

Kat had to sign for it too...they would not leave it on the porch...

mwc951 03-02-2006 06:57 PM

Wait till you see how much it needs to be drilled for the 02 sensor to fit....

I thought possibly the 01 & 01.5 use a different rear 02 sensor

BSK 03-02-2006 07:11 PM

well i talked to kevcpa4 and he will maybe install his on the weekend

i will be onduty and wont be able to help out during the day but both of us have the same engines so we will see how things go along.
the one thing that might be is that the 01 awm's are even more cautious about the rear 02 sensor and react very strict about the change of flow and temp
